    Recently went on the Pill for the first time to help regulate irregular periods but have noticed that i have a lot of spots.
    i usually have very clear skin except in the week before my period.
    Just wondering if anybody else has had the same problems while on microlite
    Thanks

    The pill is different for everyone. Some people experience mood swings, some put on weight, skin clears up for some people.

    If you have real concerns, then you should speak to your GP.

    Change brand. Some brands actually improve your skin and are used as very effective acne treatments.

    i'd recommend you stay on if for the full three months.

    if you're still having the same skin problems, then speak to the doctor. i'd say right now the hormones are just settling and it will probably clear up soon.

    i know how you feel, i've only recently begun to develop acne-like spots (at 23!!!) its very distressing when you've had clear skin all your life

    Thanks Seraphina, its nice to know im not the only one.
    Its crap when the one thing people comment on changes and people start commenting for the wrong reasons. I used to get "God you've lovely subtle skin" and now im gettin "Jesus what happened to your face, are you having an alergy??"...........................

    me = :mad:
