hey everyone, i have an idea!! how bout we paint the inside of the arts block? i mean concrete is great and all but seriously we need some colour in the place. i figure most people would have an hour 2 spare and we cud get it done..........right?!!

ok i get that it sounds impossible but impossible is a challenge!

"you see things; and you say 'why?' but I dream things that never were; and I say 'why not?"
    George Bernard Shaw

curiosity and the fact that i like polls (the statistical ones) has cause me to make this one!

agh sure go on......do it for the craic!

vote yes to bring some brightness into burke n walton n emmet's daily lives!

The Arts Block should be painted. (Just not by me!)

Great idea!! It would be class if we could have a graffiti wall with tripy images…. The problem, I would image, is the College Authorities, they’d never allow it.

If you would like you can p.m. me and we could talk about bring it up at Student Union Council to do something like this for the new Student Centre (Old Luce Hall). To have one of the rooms painted by students, for students would definitely give a sense of ownership. It could be repainted every year by a new group of students.

My guess would be that the unions wouldn't allow it. LOL too at the idea that students could repaint it every year.

I also have it on good authority that Burke, Walton and Emmet were fans of concrete. Iron too, in fact. Not to mention the odd orgy...

I've heard those alegation before, bad vibes, bed vibes. But I think the Student Centre idea could be a runner.

Prove me wrong kids, prove me wrong. A friend tried to put down a carpet by herself (with some help from friends) and inadvertently caused major frictions between a specific college department and the unions.

Plus there were other incidents which, um, I probably shouldn't talk about :D

Students painting the arts block will never be allowed, ever. Trinity is highly unionised. As for the student center, who thinks this will happen?

I didn't take it to mean myself or any previous activity I had in any Students' Union. I was referring to workers' unions or labour unions in case anyone else is confused.
