What is the cheapest way of getting from Stansted to London return, Fri-Mon? Is there a weekend ticket that allows you make this trip and also take the tube/bus for the weekend in London?

I don't think any tickets include the tube/buses in London.

Cheapest, but not nessecarily the quickest transport is http://www.lowcostcoach.com/

The Easybus is probably the cheapest www.easybus.co.uk

Stanstead express is quickest and a return trip bought on Ryanair flight will cost £20. A 3 day travelcard (off peak - which means Saturday, Sunday and after 9.30 Mon-Fri) costs £21.10. London's pretty expensive to get around

Yeah the Stansted express is £25 if bought in the airport. £20 if bought on the plane on the way over. Easiest. About 50 mins one way.

I saw the EasyBus stand as well. They were offering pretty low cost options into London, but you are traveling by road.

I just got daily tube tickets as I was there for a weekend. Its was £5.70 for 4 zones, which covered all the areas that you would need to go to for tourist attractions... The week off-peak ticket that Dodge mentioned is probably your best bet if you are there for a week..
