I am a 21 year old female singer from Dublin and i am looking to either join a band or start one up, i dont play any instruments yet but i am learning to play guitar - take a listen to the songs i use to do and see what you think tanx....

i listen to everything from elvis all the way up to slipknot. very broad choice i know!! dont mind r'n'b but would be kinda hard to do as a band.really gettin into pop/rock and pop/punk at the mo.

how serious are you lookin for the band?? like wanna do gigs or just wanna have a laugh??

Yeh i know what u mean about doing Rnb in a band, dats why i moved on from the last band because id prefere to sing with a live band, i would be series about starting one up and hopefully to gigs.

do you ever wanna do your own stuff or just stick to covers.cause right now im in an indie band and i just wanna take a break from tryin to write stuff to do covers?? but otherwise that all sounds pretty good.whereabouts in N.Dublin??

kinda know the area.my cousins live out there.easy enough to get to!! im out in portmarnock so its not too far.

well does she play instruments at all?? i think the twin factor would really gain some attention.all you really need is a drummer and bassist as long as you're willing to play guitar too.... cause i'll play lead guitar!!

no she doent play any instrments and im only learning (beginner) to play guitar.

Afternoon all
I'm the drummer in a band, we recently lost our lead singer/lead guitarist when he buggered off to australia. We haven;t jammed in a couple of months and are currently looking for either a lead guitarist/singer, or a drummer, which means me playing rhythm guitar and lead vocals. We're mainly a classic rock covers band, playing stuff like Deep purple, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Wishbone ash etc.
