    Hi,
I've built a little news aggregator site that pulls in feeds from Ireland's most popular news outlets and plonks them in one place for easy perusal. It's a small pet project but hopefully some people might find it useful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated: http://www.irishurls.com

    Cheers :)

That's actually quite handy - like the way you break it down by section and publication too.

I usually use this place for aggregated Irish news and it has its charms - wider array of content for one and it can be handy to get the article's age too - although it's not great in other ways (some of the content is irrelevant).

One thing that really bugs me is that there's no RSS feed - any chance of yourself having one (like an aggregated sports feed, news feed etc.)?

Over all nice site - although the name is a big vague!

nice site, as few people have pointed out the name leaves a bit to be desired.. Would be difficult to brand and for people to remember. Will lead to people incorrectly spelling the site..

Cheers for all the feedback folks. Some great suggestions from everyone.

My most immediate concern is probably the name of the site too... it is quite difficult to remember. The more and more I look at it, all I can think of is a woman called Iris playing camogie or getting sick!

You might have to get permission from each service to run such a site. It might be and I suspect is breach of copyright.

    I don't.

    It's not.

Bookmarked it. Thanks man for the effort. Great as it is esp for those of us who are abroad to be able to access all Irish news instantly.

    Nice one :):)
