    ok so my ex has just bought me a ps3 from dubai duty free for 380euro with 2 games....bargain i think ull agree

    1. i assume it will work fine with the irish games???

    2. anyone know what the warranty situation will be like?

    3. what games do i HAVE to buy??i dont like sport games but really like fps's

    4. what else do i need to know about the ps3 as although i knew i wanted one i knew i wouldnt be able to afford it for ages so never researched it too much

    Don't know about the PS3, but I know iPods DON'T have a warranty when bought in the Middle East.

    I bought an ipod in dubai and it came with a worldwide warranty, got it fixed no problem when I sent it back to apple.

    Things must have changed then, because when I worked in Tech Support the Serial number would advise you immediatetly that there was no support. It was explained to us that this was part of the reason they were so cheap.

    ah no im single but i mightnt be after she hand delivers my playstation

    she specifically said to me there was nothing i could do if things went wrong so i assume the guy in the shop said it to her but just wanted to confirm it
