Adobe Flash Problem

Im am trying to view some videos on various websites and it keeps telling me I need adobe flash 7 or higher to view. I have went to the adode site (Link) and installed the version there which seems to be flash 9 but I still cant view the videos. Anyone solve this problem for me. Thanks
