Looking for Good Place for ride out

I am looking for a good place to do a ride out near enough to Dublin. I used to Ride out in Callaighstown but there is quite a lot of road work before you get to the forrest. Ideal is to have a few xcountry jumps as well as a few ditches.
One place I used to go to was Rathe House near Kingscourt, anyone know it (super place with great horses) but with the traffic its a all day trip and with kids at home its hard to get the day pass from 'her indoors'.
Anyone any ideas, also would be up for meeting up with anyone interested

I've heard Killegar mentioned as a good place for riding out before... I've no personal experience of anywhere though.

Killegar is good, has a jump in and out of water, no ditches as far as I could remember. What location are you coming from?.

    Thats for the feedback.
I am coming from Templeogue so Killegar is no problem. Might give it a try.
    cheers

Hi, where's Killegar? I live close to Templeogue and am looking for somewhere to ride! More interested in hacking and light cross country than purely taking lessons every week.

Are they a good school though? They don't seem to be AIRE approved?

It appears to be, although I think there was a mistake in the beach ride bit!. They have improved the cross country jumps in the back field and have put in a bank of earth. They have generally improved the place with a new stable block and surface for the out door.
