I am guessing this is from the comments that Holyfield made earlier in the year.

Tyson has never been proved to have taken steroids, and anytime he was tested, his results were always clean.

People are clutching at straws methinks, I have even heard people try to say that the fact that Tyson has been in so much trouble outside the ring was proof he took steroids as they claimed it was roid rage. A load of twaddle in my opinion, just people out to make headlines or deflect attention for their own reasons.

I doubt it, tyson was huge even as a child-and getting bigger would not of helped his style too much, the only way i'd say he was on them would be if he needed to recover from injury quickly..

Tyson was around 14 stone at 13 years of age and that has been well documented.

At his peak and indeed for most of his career he weighed 15 to 15 1\2 stone.

I think this is an open and shut case.

Most people in the know would point to 'Cheque Drops' (Mibolerone).

Mibolerone is used to stop a dog coming into heat. It is an adrogenic steroid used by vets. It is more effective than Testostrone.

It can cause a very aggressive reaction in humans, and has been used by athletes in various sports before events, as it gives a major rush and spike in aggression/adrenaline. It is quite difficult to trace in the system, unless the person was tested pretty soon after their event.

Again the Tyson link was only a rumour which was never proven. Even Ali had a similar rumour spread about him. The Tyson rumour grew legs after his bite fight with Holyfield. Holyfield being the same man who used Tyson's name when Holyfield was being investigated earlier this year.

They are pretty commonly used by boxers on both sides of the Atlantic, and by Track and Field competitors.
