We have three phone sockets in house, when i plug in cable from modem to a particular socket people cant get through to our landline even when i have dsl filter fitted and all that is heard is interference on line. this has only happened recently and everything was working fine till yesterday. A cable from affected socket goes under a door so may have become damaged, is this likely the problem? When i plug out the broadband cable from affected socket the landline can be called no problem.
