Has it been green-lit by Fox yet?
The same ****e has been going on the last few years -every couple of months the Duvh or Anderson come out and say they are signed on and have read scripts , are just waiting for it to be greenlit.

Could be good though if they keep to Duvh's promise it will be MOTW concept, not arc related.

Oh God.. David Duchovny has own acronym / shorthand ().... i guess the Apocalypse is upon us so! :D

Loved 'The X Files' series. Didn't think too much of the movie.

But both Duchovny and Anderson have moved on.

Duchovny is making a career out of it with increasing impressive performances week after week in TV's 'Californication' while Anderson is ummmmmm.... uhhhhhhh... hmmmmmmm.... i watched 'Straightheads' on Sunday night. And Christ, Anderson is clearly taking any oul sh*te script!

Not really .It was around the time the show started getting bad. The movie itself was
near impossible for new comers to the franchise to get into due to the tv series related arc storyline. It was basically 2 very bad x-files episodes edited together.

They should make a movie in the "fun" style that a lot of the eps had, you know the humourous ones like Clyde Bruckmans Final Repose. The last thing I want is a two hour movie with them chasing aliens that probably don't even exist.

The movie really was just an extra long episode. Really big let down, it could have been soooo much better.

The film has got a release date, July 25, 2008. I for one cannot wait. I grew up watching the show, and to this day still love it. Sure some of the later seasons were'nt great but there were some fantastic episodes with Doggat.
