    Hi folks
Ive been shooting raw for the past few months now and have been using the canon utilities for processing.
Now we all know that this is fairly brutal in terms of its application to things and i could really do with something a little more delicate and sensitive.
Unfortunately i cant afford lightroom or apeture at the minute so i was basically wondering if anyone knows any decent free programmes kicking about that maye be of use?

DPP is supposed to be one of the most powerful for editing raw files. But, I guess it's down to personal choice.

I bought a Sandisk Xtreme III card last month and it came with a free registration number for CaptureOne LE RAW Processor.

It does the trick paul certainly, it may be just me but i find it lacks a certain subtlety that i would find handy considering my tendancy to overdo things anyway :D
