    Hi all,

I recently bought a LCD flat screen for the house. Made up my own tv coax connection (needed an f type connection to the socket), but I have noticed when I go to attach the coax I get a tiny spark, is this normal? I ask because I'm concerned if there is something wrong with the TV, or if it might do some damage to my cable connection that I have split to provide a feed to this new room on the house.

Also for comparision connected an old portable TV to the same point but it doesnt show any spark.

    Thanks

    me
