Bamboo flooring

Hey, anybody ever put down bamboo flooring? Is there benifits, drawbacks? Looking at getting it in woodies over the weekend, it's about 28 euro a square metre - with 20% off this weekend. Is this a good price? thanks, J

work there myself. grab it while its cheap. its pretty much the same as any flooring and goes down the same. however the design on it isnt to everyones taste cos of the weird marks on it that arent on any other timber floors. there are two different types by the way...a dark and a light one
