are the courses offered by www.computeach.co.uk the real deal or a gimmick?

Heard so much bad stuff about them but at the end of the day I never met anyone who was on one of their courses...

I can't say for sure, some of the courses they are advertising are recognized courses, the thing is

Are they qualified to teach and certify in them.
Are they just a fly by night organization.

This course has me worried, i have never heard of such a thing, thats not to say it does not exist, but all i am aware of is Microsoft Office Specialist.
    www.certiport.com.

Have you tried this company in Dunlaoire who are certified by and sell these courses on behalf of Certiport & Microsoft.

Just read that page, and I found this bit funny...
Microsoft Office 2003 is the world’s leading computer operating system
...esp as Office isn't an OS. Sounds nice, means f**k all. Looks like a course that will teach you how to use Office, but they put it on the same page as "actual" courses, to give it weight. I don't think that it's anything more than that.

Did a search on microsoft.com, and got http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/training/HA102262291033.aspx ... which is nice, esp the bit where it says courses are free

Wonder how much they charge for it?

OP, I've just replied to your other thread. Stick with your degree and don't be even considering courses like that until you're finished one thing first, the degree.
