I dont think many even doubted the micro cube. 98% of the forums recomend it so.

Nobody should ever doubt the microcube. I don't even have a guitar anymore but I kept my microcube just incase :)

Hey, you can still sing through it! :)

The Microcube "really whips the llama's @ss", as the old Winamp ad used to say.

It does have one serious drawback, though....you can't play bass through it, which may not be true of any larger Roland.

    The speaker's just too tiny, it comes out 'G D A e' :p

I've played bass through it with no problems, although I mainly play an 80's Aria thats so bright it could blind you! :D

It won't do it for my Iceman. But that's ok, I have something 225 times as powerful for that purpose. :)

For practising do the bigger cubes, 15x~30x offer any significant advantages over the Micro Cube?

Bigger, louder, more knobs, and some are 2 channel footswitchable. So yeah, some advantages.
