Does anybody know if the Dreambox will work with a Free to View Card?? I have a Sky Dish and a re-conditioned skybox which I use with the FTV card to pick up channels for free....if I get a dreambox will it decode the other channels which I dont have?

No it won't

It will give you the same channels unless the card is "confused" like mine.

I can receive channel 5 on the Dreambox with my UK FTV card, but not on either of my Sky boxes (UK and Irl ones)

The Dreambox wont give you any of the subscription channels though unless you are doing illegal cardsharing, and thats a topic that will get you instabanned here if you try to discuss it here (and rightly so).

Thought so.........if I was to buy a basic package with sky would the dreambox give me more channels than the basic package?

If it did it would be criminal and against the forum rules to discuss it. But it doesn't.

It only does what ever the card does in a Sky box, except no G'tee of continuing to work and vastly inferior due to lack of EPG and interactive.
