11 of us are finally heading off in two weeks for a 12 day euro trip. Our planned stops are Budapest(2days), Bratislava(1day), Vienna(2days), Prague(2days), Berlin(2days) and Amsterdam(3days). We'll be interrailling.

I would like to know of any recommended hostels that you guys/girls have stayed in, in any of the above cities? None of us have any backpacking/interrailing experience so any last minute advice/tips would be appreciated.

    1. Will it be possible to purchase a power adapter at dublin airport that will work in europe? Or should we get a few before we leave?

    2. I got a general Travel insurance policy...would that cover an SLR digital camera(that I'll be bringing with me?)

    3. Whats the story with laurandrettes in europe?...are they plentifull?

    4. What kind of wheather conditions can we expect(cold obviously...too how cold?)??

    5. Anyone know how many pairs of jeans/jumpers etc we should aim to bring. I know its better to pack light but some of the others are intending on bringing clothes for the 12 days and not washing them as they go....which is silly i think.

    Cheers in advance.

If you haven't received a reply yet it may be due to the fact that you're asking for a LOT of information in one post and is almost impossible for any one person to answer.

    1. Just pick up a power/plug converter tomorrow, don't wait until you're at the airport.

    2. No one here can tell you that. You have to read your policy details.

    3. No idea. I'd suggest you Google it.

    4. Again, Google.

    5. Personally I'd have 3/4 days of clothes and wash as I went.
