    Hi guys,

Got a Java J2EE developer job lately. Strange thing is I have no J2EE (they know this but I guess experienced J2EE guys are hard to find) experience.

Anyway what's the best book or tutorial to learn J2EE?

Was looking at the J2EE tutorial on the Sun site but any other suggestions would be very helpful.

    Thanks.

We used Mastering EJB by Ed Roman back in college. Was an easy read and covered quite a lot. Think its up to the 3rd edition now. Once you master that, you'll probably want to move to the EJB 3 spec, so you'll need a different book for that.

J2EE, is quite a wide area... no point in learning ejb 2, if your new company is using seam ejb3 and hibernate. Find out exactly what technologies they are using.
