Time wrong on EPG

Hi, on ntl:/UPC cable in Dublin area with the new DVR ... has anyone else noticed that the time on the EPG is wrong, i.e. showing an hour early, as are all the programs in the EPG?

It's happened once before and corrected itself, but if there's any of the regular ntl:/UPC people here listening, could someone give the EPG hamster a kick up the behind, please? I value my sanity too much to actually ring them up and complain about it.

....but will it fall back into line when the clocks change over the weekend???

I've looked at a few programmes in the EPG for Saturday and Sunday and compared them with the times on the BBC website, and it would appear that after Sunday the times in the EPG are correct, whereas from now until Saturday they're all exactly 1 hour early!

So it looks like someone's switched the clock changeover on a few days early! C'mon now, it's not exactly rocket science to get this kind of thing right now, is it?

    It's fine now!

I'd say someone got eager and changed it!

Yes, just came in and it's back to normal again. Let's hope it all changes when it's supposed to on Sunday morning though!

It's done this about 10 times in the last month for me, I normally just power cycle the box to fix the problem.....

Or if you using ur own custom decoder, set it to sync via NTP ;)

I'll let him off just one more time, but another transgression and I'll send my two cats round to sort him out! Seriously though, thanks for helping out, much appreciated!

In addition to the time errors the display has also disappeared from my box.
HRD Drive wiped itself today and erased all my progs as well!!

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I have lost many a recorded show. If you fast forward for too long it deletes half the show. Additionally, if you have a show set to record, but only turn the box on, it's records it without detail. When you try to watch, it states you can't as you never subsribed to the channel. I only hope the box can recover those "lost" hours. I fear that if I get around to deleting all shows, I won't have 100% free.

I've had that happen to me just once, i.e. no details, plus the "not subscribed" message, but I'm not sure what you mean exactly by "if you have a show set to record, but only turn the box on, it's records it without detail". The box has to be on, or in standby to record, surely?

Anyway, at least the time on the EPG is right now, probably more by accident than design though :)
