OK so Mass Effect has now gone gold and is my #1 hotly anticipated title of 07.

Any ideas on whether this will be region free?

Also, play asia do not have the limited collector's edition showing. Is this available elsewhere for import (assuming it turns out to be region free)? It seems to have some good stuff en-box...

Does it follow the publisher's past titles or the developers? Microsoft Game Studios released Shadowrun as region locked.

Does no one look at the usual places to buy games when hoping to get LE? A simple search at a popular online retailer can give you exactly what you need. Found one, close thread.

Actually if you read the question I was asking about it's available for import (for less than 70 euros) and if the import would work.

Well I preordered the limited edition of Mass Effect in my local Gamestop last friday so they cant be wrong about the Limited edition coming to Ireland. I think you confused the bonus disc that you get when you preorder it in Gamestop of USA and Canada with the Limited edition:)

I think i'm expecting too much myself. I haven't heard/read much hype at all, just read one or two previews. But i've really been anticipating it and checking for vids on gametrailers.com

Anyways, The limited addition is on ShopTo.co.uk for €58.99 + €5 shipping if anyone is interested. I hear they're good for pre-ordering with but i've never had any experience
