    Quick one to the panel;

Either chillin in a card room or waiting for the delay in starting the tournament to be sorted :D or even hiding behind something while checking out the waitresses which of the following Poker Magazines scattered around the card clubs in the country would you choose and why:
    1. Card Player
    2. Bluff
    3. Wpt
    4. Poker Europa
    5. Poker Player Magazine
    6. Other

I enjoy Card Player and glance at the irish news and rankings in Europa.

    Curiosity is all....

    Cheers

Speaking of curiosoty, i picked up a copy of Card Player at CHL's and guess what p57 was missing. A dramatic tearage on the inner layerage. I wonder what was on that page?!.
It must have been a voucher or summit;)

Cardplayer is decent, pokerplayer has its editions,
    bluff isn't great imo.
WPT is full of poxy ads and doesn't do a great job of covering events,

Inside Poker - Not full of poker "gossip", but has a good tutorial section, advice on 'other' games i.e. Omaha, Pot vs No limit, etc.

Appeals to my need to learn more about the game rather than the personalities.

I haven't read them for a while, but a year ago bluff was the best of those lot. Cardplayer came second imo. Other than those the rest are a bit crappy I think.

Just pick up your own copy of FHM and bring it with you. I think its about €7 but its just a matter of folding a J10o pf to a €7 raise..

If you're a member of Collossus Casino, you can just walk in and grab some of the poker magazines they have, bluff, europa and others

Good plug there belgo, however all casinos have them, and I believe they are free to casinos from the publishers as well.

Card Player and Bluff for me. Just got Online Poker Pro and thats got very good online coverage (obviously!). Has a full list of online tournaments ($10k+ gua's and $100+ buy-ins) for the big sites which is really handy.

At least we know players are reading all the mags but, other than poker Ireland, how about the boardsies setting up a mag?

Anyone interested? Not just for everyone on this forum because the info is free albeit a little scattered but for the players out there who dont use boards. Flood the card rooms. With this ruling meeting in Waterford wouldnt it be great to have everyone reading about them in a published article that is readily available in card rooms. A home grown magazine!

Not just for the rulings either. Get regular boardsies to have articles and even a tuition column. I mean the resources here are fantastic and I'd love to see it printed if people were willing.

Flushdraw could even have a column where he gets to photograph beautiful models scattered in various dubious positions, obviously over poker tables and in card rooms across the country. :D

    Just a suggestion......

Rarely read them, but last time I did, found bluff to be a lot better than Cardplayer.

    Card Player.

    Got a link?

I'll hold that big white circular yoke that reflects light onto them, or rub them down with baby oil. Happy to be part of the team. :)

    Hello All,

I am brand new here. I have written several articles for Player Europe and for Bluff Magazine. The editors of both are great guys and the best people I have worked with as a poker writer.

Johnny Hughes, author of the upcoming novel, Texas Poker Wisdom.
