Getting Other Channels to my favorites list

    Hi,

I tuned in the additional channels I wanted only to discover to my horror that I have to access them via the "Other Channels" option under services.

Anyone know of a way to associate a channel number to them or add them the the favorites blue button?

    Ta,
    JP

Only through other channels I'm afraid.

Yep, as lizzyd66 said, Other Channels cannot be given an EPG number, nor can they be added to Favourites list. Shame really.

Possible that if you have a OneforAll remote that you could program a macro on a key which will switch to UTV/ITV etc.

the Sky remote is also programmable - anyone tried setting up a macro to go to other channels?

Is it possible to set up macros on a regular Sky remote?
If so, any instructions greatly appreciated.

Nice idea, but the macro takes over the function of the Sky, TV Guide, Box Office, Services and Interactive buttons. So regardless of which of these you press, you activate the macro. Not much good when you want to go into the planner to see what's on.

That info is word for word the same as what's on Satcure

Does it take over all 4 buttons? I thought it was only 1... Kinda sucky so...

Yeah, it takes over all buttons. Its purpose is so that when you press one of these buttons, your TV switches to the relevant channel that you've Sky tuned to.

can I just use the 'BOX OFFICE' button for UTV and leave the other buttons in their original state ?

or is it that all 4 buttons will operate UTV and that's that ?

or can I put 4 different channels on the 4 buttons ?

All 5 buttons will perform the same macro. Please note, that I have not tried to set a macro where it goes into Other Channels and selects UTV, as it was never really the purpose of this macro. Can't check now as herself is watching Grays Anatomy :)
