I've never been skiing before and want to go in January. I am looking for somewhere that has a reasonable transfer time from the airport. Any ideas where is good for beginners? I have looked at austria but don't know which are the good/bad resorts. Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

Im heading to Alpe de heurs on jan 5th in the french alps. It has the longest black in the world! You get a special certificate if you complete the run 4 times in a season. Also you can go night skiing if the there is a full moon out!
