    Hi Bear,
Im pretty much in the same boat as you. I played guitar years ago and got bored (expected too much to soon) so gave up but have got back into it a few months now. I admire your honesty (****e) lol! Im not that much better! I like a lot of stuff and appreciate everything from jazz to rock. Im 35 too.

    Cheers!

Amateurish 31 year old keyboard player here, without band playing experience :D Also *very* basic guitar skills.

I'm more into Pink Floyd than The Doors or Led Zeppelin (and trying more or less desperately to learn jazz), but... whatever works.

I'm Swords-based, but work in Dublin city centre. Also, I have some portable equipment (a lightweight basic MIDI keyboard and a decent sounding small XG synth).

Lads, seems we may have a band in the making. Want to private message me ure numbers and we can chat and maybe arrange something when ever suits yez ? Midweek or weekends ?

Could then book some jam time or maybe agree a few numbers we are gonna attempt and hook up and let it rip. What yez think ?

I reckon this could be good for all of us!

Can you play bass? (I have a bass guitar so the ability, not the equipment, is crucial here) We don't have a bass guitarist, and I will probably have to play bass parts on the keyboard, unless you can help with that :)

If you can't play bass - that's fine for me as well (two guitars is somewhat normal for a rock band :) ), but let others speak for themselves.

By the way - do you have your own transport? We'll most probably be rehearsing at my place in Swords (because I'm the only person with no transport for now), and going there by bus is a huge waste of time.

We haven't started jamming yet, having problems with organizing stuff so far (work consumes lots of time). And the drummer's equipment broke as well. Just like the Fate wants to test our determination or something ;)

We have no bass guitarist yet (just me trying to learn to play basslines on keys), so I guess you could help a lot.

Are you able to get to Swords with your equipment easily? Because that's where we'll be likely jamming to avoid studio rental costs (but that's not set in stone, with 5 people to share expenses).

IIRC, we decided to jam on weekends.

    Hi Redrud,
As soon as we all have the time we are planning to meet up for a chat before we start jamming. What kind of stuff do you like playing? I see you are in Athy, is getting to Dublin ok with you?

    Cheers
