You might find someone will offer their services from boards. Boards members get an automatic 15% discount i believe :D

    kidding.

    Hi
My friend got married and they used a video company called Captured Occasions, he is based in cork.
They found him great and very pleased with the DVD they got.

    Regards

there is a great video guy in Newcastle West you should try - kevin daly 087 294 2094. He did my bestfriend's wedding and it was unreal. He charged her 950 I think and it included everything

hi, just married six months, we used a cousin of my husband who have a vidoe production business, he based in south tip but should travel, michael trihy is his name. he charges around seven hundred, and was conpletely unobtrusive on the day. his number should be in the phone book.
    best of luck!

Sorry for taking this slightly ot but do many people hire videographers for their weddings these days?

We did, and we're really glad we did too. There's so much you miss on the day, or just forget, because of everything that's going on, so it's nice to have the record. I find it seriously cringe-y watching yourself speak though! I know it's an expensive day as it is, but I think it's better than regretting not getting one down the road.

Although we didn't go with Texanman from boards in the end, his sample DVD was one of the best we had seen - it was a very close call between him and the guy we went to.
