Libel and refusal to honour a cheque

Is it libelous for a bank to refuse to honor a cheque where sufficient funds exist to cover it in an account? Or is that an urban myth? MM

Used to be the case, now dealt with under process. In other words its unlikely to be taken as a case unless the matter is extremely serious.
