The guy running it was on here posting about it a few months ago I think. Flick back through the pages and you should find it. Do a search for survey and it should come up as he was asking us to take a survey I think!

thats a different place, there was a thread looking doing a bit of market research for a seperate business. I did allow a surveymonkey thread on it though.

golf creche is the shop in dumdrum, it just has one of those simulators with courses on it. Have tried them before and no impressed. Shop is ok though, I pop in there for balls and have bought some clothing too. Handy location and he is a nice guy, also teaches out in steapaside.

Have been to golfcreche, and got bored inside 5 minutes. Played the St. Andrews course - tee to green was ok but when you tried to putt it was a complete joke. You had to make sure your ball went over some sort of sensor thing to register.

    Won't be rushing back.

When hitting any full shots (driver or irons), you had to be sure the flight of the ball went over a sensor which was about 2-3 feet in front of the mat you were playing off. 8 times out of 10 this worked well but on occasion the sensor didn't pick up the ball flight and the player had to replay the shot. Some thing you could live with I suppose.

If I remember correctly putting took place on said mat (3 feet deep) and again you had to putt over the sensor. You had no idea where the ball was going, how much pace to put on it etc.

Perhaps these were cheap simulators and there are better versions out there but I wasn't impressed at all.
