I know this is probably small-fry compared to other bargains reported here, but I think it's worthy of a mention. There's a few nice little gadgets and the like in there... obviously all @ €2 each.

Those cheap plastic 4-port USB hubs, dead handy when you don't have front usb ports on your PC. Good for laptops too.

Thanks just what I was looking for and I don't have to go near 7 day shop...........

Is it worth the risk of frying your ~€1k computer with a €2 usb port?

    It is what it's.

I've been using them on a regular basis for about 2 years now.... never a problem. I never overload them, I treat them more like USB extension cables.
So there's only ever the likes of USB keys, mice and webcams in them, nothing
    that consumes too much power.

I think you will find that most USB hubs are worth less then 2 euros to manufacture ;)

Those 2 Euro shops are the biz.
    I get stuff there regularly.
    Scart leads,DC Adaptors,Jump Leads for Car,Chrome Door Stoppers,Button Type Batteries,etc.
I found the quality to be fine.

Those paper envelope things with the see through plastic front for DVDs are the biz as well! 50 for €2? Bargain!

I also got a USB bendy light in there too. Handy when using the laptop in the evenings, no need for big bright lights, just shine on the keyboard and it's perfect. Got a standard USB A-B cable for printer there before aswell, 30 euro PC World wanted for one, no thanks.

Yep, that's exactly how I use them too. Considering what a USB extension cable can cost for a USB key (flash drive), and that's just for one USB key, they're a bargain. It's the business with 4 keys sticking out of it! Ideal for sharing files in the office etc.... I did get a couple from a different €2 shop that were DOA but I just returned them and got replacements.

I'd just like to say that the €2 shop kicks ass. They used to have €2 calculators which were scientific to a degree (bah dum tish). I meant by this that they had Sin, Cos and Tan. I remember buying them by the bucketload a few years ago in other circles.

Very cheap, good place. And it's quick too.

Heh, yeah, I've one, though it has burned a big hole at the bottom and scorched my desk! :(

Still though, it did (still does) keep my coffee warm :)

Hah! i didnt know that, has it not got a strong bottom or through time is it that it burned it, as i gave it to my brother, he said the kettle was too far away at work!

Another neat thing i saw in it as well was a mini speaker with a 3.5mm adaptor at end of it, i use it with the mp3 player at home, if i dont want to use the earphones.

My sis-in-law raided the place on sat for a halloween party coming up soon with over a dozen kids, it'll be a ghoulish get-together :D

Got the 4 port hub and the mini speaker the other day (as well as a number of other stuff that ultimately forced the bag to rip once I got out of the shop :(), really good value.

ye those bags are useless. I bought a nice oil burner for candles,5 mins later as I was walking to get a lift home it fell from my bag and smashed into pieces.

I do like the 2euro stores tho

While i like the euro shop, those bloody speakers are useless! plugged them in, full blast, could barely hear it when holding it up to my ears like the worlds largest headphones!

I got a remote for my tv there. I'm sure it works fine but you can GTFO if you think I'm going to sit there and wait for it to try get the right signal for my tv.

So why did u get it if your not gonna set it up? :P

Code search on Universal Remotes = common knowledge = <no tv remote!

Those hubs are usb 1.1 afaik, so they are alot slower copying data etc, but you can't go wrong for the price. I got the Skype phone off them for 2 euro , looks like a phone receiver and plugs into mic and headphone jacks, excellent value.
