Has anyone noticed that Firefox has slowed down considerably since the recent update this week?

In particular, I sometimes have to wait to scroll down to the bottom of a page as it appears to be busy.

It has crashed and closed twice in the past two days. It never did that before. Anyone else noticed a significant slowdown since updating this week?

Image-Show-Hide 0.2 = was slowing things for me.

Cache Status 0.7.2 = only reports 16MB RAM cache ( was using 22.5MB  )
what is the about:config setting for this ? or is it a red herring

still about half of the extensions to go.
