I know there is a lot of information on this subject already, I have actually spent the last four hours reading it but I am still a little confused.

I am thinking of applying for the postgrad starting in 2008. I have downloaded the information on the www.pac.ie and I am waiting for the information pack to arrive from home. It should arrive on Monday. I am currently working as a English Secondary School Teacher in Japan. I am on a programme called JET and it is run by the Japanese government and I teach 35 hours a week. I am not sure if it will be taken into account with the points system and I also have TEFL. I am on a five year contract that is renewable every year.

My degree was in Tourism Marketing and the information online says I can teach Business and Accounting. I have also done 4 year of Spanish with my degree and would really like to tecah spanish and business. Is this possible? Also the examples of how to figure your points out is very confusing as its says things like subject X and subject Y and i didnt actually take any accounting in my final year. The only subject that i took all the way through college was Spanish. So how do i figure the points out?

From reading some of the posts people also seem to have done a similar course in the UK. How difficult is it to come back to Ireland and teach? There was a post somewhere about doing the postgrad in Swansea, has anybody got any more infomation on this?

Sorry, it is such a long post and has so many questions!
