Rude noise in my ear!

    I've a weird experience that i'd like a few opinions on please! this happened years ago but still confuses me!
    when i was about 8 or 9 (i'm 25 now) i was recording my voice on a tape recorder. I was playing pretending to be on a radio drama, where i was a mother putting her child to bed and saying prayers.
    I started to say the Our Father in a funny voice.
    I then got a noise into my right ear. It was the sound of someone putting their tongue between their lips and blowing out, you know like a kid being rude might do?! I didn't feel any breath or anything, just heard the noise right into my ear.
    There was no one else in the house except my older brother who was in his room at the other end of the house (we had a bungalow at the time).
    It really scared me & i ran up to my brother & told him. He said it was probably God being angry for making fun of a prayer!

    did you catch the voice on tape, you were recording the whole thing right?

    Hey, i don't know if the noise was recorded as i never checked. Didin't even think of it at the time unfortunately.

    So was it the sound of a fart?

    It could have been the tape going a bit hay-wire, a squealy farty sound wouldn't be unheard of now from a tape player. Could be the cogs squeaking, it could be a dirty section of tape... If it was the sound of a cow mooing or god booming voice shouting "stop making fun of my prayers" then I would call the ghost busters. Nothing to worry about.

    :p You're so funny, i'm sure you're right, but it was right at my ear, didn't sound like it was from the recorder! Was just a tad weird is all! x
