    The Cork legend who won All-Irelands with cork as a manager and as a Player died on friday at the age of 74. And played for the legendary Glen Rovers for many years. An absolute Gent and a great cork GAA man.

    It's a sad day for Cork Hurling.

    Yep, a true Cork GAA legend. I don't remember him as a player, he first came to my attention when he coached the 1986 AI winning team. Sweet memories of that victory, Cork were massive underdogs in that final.
