an Aeg would be your best bet as a beginner. Id suggest having a look through www.eirsoft.ie or www.rsov.com they ahve plenty of great quality and great value Aegs which would be ideal for beginners.

AEG. I'd reccomend the CA Aug a1.

aeg's are definitely more fun for your first purchase, and dont worry, you'll end up buying one of everything eventually anyway :)

have a look through the photo's thread here and pick out something you like the look of, then browse around online for one, or just pick a gun you've seen in films that you like, if you need any advice on makes feel free to ask

If I was starting out (and I am truth be told) I'd head to HRTA and spend a day running around with a rental. You'll get to see the sport, and there are plenty of AEGs of every flavour to ogle before buying one.

    Dboys m4a1 all metal.

Who cares how popular they are (alot of people have m4s of different types) its no reason not to have one, its just such a badass aeg, and the ammount of bits available for them is great.

First Skimish. If you like it, go for a chinses gun.
If you REALLY like it get the AUG as above, my first AEG, Very snazy!:D
