I've never trained with him or any one from his organisation. He used to be in the IKMF but is now in a legal battle in the US over the copyright of the term "Krav Maga". Hence the IKMF now frequently advertise over there as "Imi System" Imi Sd'Or being the founding father of Krav Maga.
Basing my opinion on the fact that Darren and Eyal Yanilow have in the psat brought out DVD's together i'd imagine that the training is pretty good. However, and of course i am biased on this, Darren's organisation does seem to be more like the "MC Dojo" type operation often discussed here on boards.
If you're looking for top quality Krav training ie: Global Team IKMF instructors, there are a series of 1 day seminars coming up in the UK 17-19 Nov. Check the IKMF UK website for details.

Someone told me the other day that Krav Maga was developed by a Frenchman and was never used by the Israeli special forces.

    Any truth in this?
