Locked Files

Hi Folks, Ive recently just moved alot of files from my WinXP PC to an external drive which I have hooked up to my Mac Mini. Ive noticed that alot of files such as music is locked. Could this because of DRM? Any idea how I can check whats locking/blocking these files? Dave

Not likely to be DRM, just some system setting. Do a get into on one of the files and check the permissions and author. That will give you most of your info, depending on that, you can just do a batch reset of the perms to unlock, if its a system thing.
