    Hi Tom,

From my own point of view and from knowing some people in the game, the PG clinic is abit of a rip off. You won't actually be doing any sessions with Goldin himself.

Personally speaking I can vouch for Tony Sadar - www.mindscope.ie

    Best of luck

I used the PG clinic in Malahide to give up smoking, and I havent touched a fag in three years, so for me its been succesful.
As above poster says, you wont get to see the man himself (i think he's really really old now), but you'll get some other lacky instead. (the guy I met was a bit of a gimp, so it proved to me that it was the therapy that worked, not just the smooth talk of some slick character with a good spiel).
I'd say give it a go, if nothing else, at least you'll learn from it.

As a Hypnotherapist myself I do not agree fully with the Goldin Clinic methods or prices. Goldin himself has passed on by the way and he was a fantastic and inspirationa Hypnotist no doubt. The Goldin clinics employ Hypnotists to hypnotise clients and then they play the therapy on a cd. It works often but it lacks the individual therapy often required for longterm results. I believe the price is €168 but don't quote me on that. You can find Hypnotists charging as ittle as €50 and in excess of €1500 for package sessions which I am completely against. Most people only need 1 session and to book anyone in for 10 at the drop of a hat is a scam imho. As I am unable to promote myself I can refer you to www.irishhypnotistregister.com
which is a site for properly qualified Hypnotists scattered around the country. I couldn't provide prices but you should expect to pay a good Hypnotist €100 per session which will last an hour. Smoking cessation is usually 1 or 2 sessions. For weight loss, I usually say "a stone a session". Panic attacks is often 3 sessions but I must stress that everything can be done in as little as 1 therapy session and block bookings should not be made.

    I can completely recommend Hypnotoad.
