First off , a big thank you to everyone on this forum ... you guys (especially Dragan, G'em, Transform, Hanley, dave_irl, jsb and many others) really know your stuff and have been an excellent resource. CHEERS !

So, I joined a gym back in March and for the first four months i concentrated on learning the various weights, form and getting my diet in check.
8 weeks ago i was 75kg with 17% body fat.
    Today I am 83Kg with 18% BF

    My diet was as follows...

8am - Large bowl of Porridge with full fat milk
    10am - fruit & Protein bar
    12pm - Chicken wrap
    2pm - mass gainer
    4pm - Chicken breast, potatoes , salad
    6pm - bacon and Eggs
    8pm - Nuts
    10pm - Mass gainer

I found this tough, it is a lot of food and i really had to puch myself to eat at times.

My workout was 4 days a week, alot of compound lifting , going as heavy as i can to failure.
I am going to continue like this for maybe another 6 weeks to reach 90kg but then i would like to cut my BF to 10% , is it ok to go from a bulk straight into a cut ? Whats the best approach ? Is it just a case of lowering my calorie maintenance by 500cals a day and upping the (non-existent) cardio ?

    Thanks guys

It's hard to gain weight and reduce fat at the same moment

I'm probably at the same situation as you - my weight was 53 and I'm using weight gainer to build mass (currently after 2 months i weight 58). My target is to weight 62-65 (I'm 175 tall)

What I was advised is to put as much calories onto diet as possible, use weight gainer together with creatine and if at the end I would weight as much as i want and my fat level would be to high - to take thermogenic fat burners and maybe hmb

Can someone more experienced in suplementation confirm what I've just written?

Probably is a fair bit- but not neccesarily as no portion sizes are given.

This will show calorific estimate requirments for "bulk/cut"

i like it as you are scoffing and dieting on/off all the time, so you are never getting tired of having to eat so much, nor pissed off with having to restrict your calories- more sustainable IMO- though at the moment I am eating like a horse since winter is coming and I like to keep my immune system in check.
