    something always bothered me about the cockpit.

    Why wasn't Charlie in the cockpit when he was up the front when the plane broke apart?

    Yeah I've seen this discussed a few times at TheFuselage. It's really just a slight continuity error. But I think we're supposed to assume that the seat we saw Charlie strap himself into was further down the plane than the editing made it appear to be. There might have been some footage cut.
