The original still isn't out on DVD, so I've not seen it yet (it's a Takashi Miike film, so I'll probably be getting around to it very soon). The trailer doesn't look too bad, but dear god if that isn't the worst poster for a film I've seen in a long time!

Thought the remake looked appaling tbh. Few decent looking shock moments tiwards the end of the trailer but you just know these are the absolute best things in the film and they have already shot their bolt.

As for the poster...well it is certainly scary...but not in the right way:eek:

Meh, just looks like another Ring clone mixed with Pulse. I'm not a big fan of Miike, so the idea of one of his films remade for the US market doesn't really have a chance to appeal to me :D

I'm acutually looking forward to this, even though I find Ed Burns irritating beyond belief. It's not often we get to see Ray Wise on the big screen and every opportunity must be cherised.

Well that trailer does like ok. As a Miike entusiast though I'm gonna pick up a copy of the original and watch that instead.

I find most trailers these days show everything that happens, and it's a little dissapointing. Is it really required to show the audience something from every single scne in the film for them to be enticed into seeing it? I really wish trailers would just show enough to pique people's interest, and no more.
