Flying shannon to Rome next year

    Tried booking flights from Shannon to Rome next year. Doesnt seem to be any flights available on this route at all next year. Does anyone know if this route is going to be discountinued????

    I would not think so, nothing has been said yet. There is loads of destinations from Shannon that you cant book for next summer yet.. nantes, Venice....
    Its probably got to do with timetabling.(I hope)

    I hope it is just a case that the timetable has not been decided on yet. Getting married over there next May, and it would be so much handier if our group could fly from shannon. Will just keep checking website :)

    IIRC one of the last occasions Ryanair made announcements about adding more destinations from Shannon they also announced dropping the Rome flight - not sure if this was for off peak times or for the foreseeable future. It was a very late flight arriving in Rome around mid-night - cheap flight but with a lot of hassel arriving at that hour.

    Indeed Shannon to Rome is to end permanently in the next few weeks
