I notice from the new BBC schedule the EM is now on at 3am Sat morning as opposed to the old slot of 2am Sun morning.

Cue Pete "Each and every Friday night into Saturday morning...."

what a show. i used to listen to al gibbs freaks on friday and then i listened to a few EM and i cant bare to have fm104 on at all anymore. its pants.

where in dublin is good to go to get BBC radio one reception? also what frequency is best??

99.7 is the frequency I use but it sometimes fades in and out a little. Anywhere North of the North Co. Dublin area is good altho you may have to play around with your aerial a bit though. When driving south it fades rapidly from swords on.

i was thinking more dublin mountains...i got BBC R4 last nite crystal clear there yesterday. didnt try for R1.

i live near on the northside so swords isnt too bad. i'd just like a bit of a view if i'm gonna be parked up :)

If you have a pc hooked up to a sound system the quality is pretty good, or you can now get DAB radios for under a 100

Cheers Bobby but i don't think that page has every single Essential Mix since it first started in 1993, plus you need to have an account with megaupload to download all the mixes;)
