Vouchers with new Wii - Gamestop or Smyths?

    Priced Wiis in town at the weekend:
    Gamestop 299 with any game, plus 100 quid of vouchers;
    Smyths 299 with any game, + 2 x €5 vouchers + loyalty card

    Just wondering which is the better deal? I've heard the Gamestop vouchers are a bit rubbish, things like 5 off purchases over 50 and the like.

    Does anyone know what the Smyths vouchers are like? e.g. Could I get Wii play as the free game, then put one (or both) vouchers towards a second nunchuck and have two sets of controllers for 320?

    The Smyths vouchers are just €5 vouchers, no minimum purchase price required as far as I can remember but you can only use 1 voucher per purchase. Smyths generally have better prices for their games so you're more likely to use the vouchers there (€5 off a game for €50 is better than €5 off a game for €60 :) )

    The nunchucks are €21.99 in Gamestop anyway so you could get it for 321.98 and still have all your vouchers intact.

    Smyths won't allow Wii play as the 2nd game.
    Virgin megastore are doing the best deal
    Console & any 1 game for €280
    Console & any 2 games for €315
    Unfortunately they are sold out
    I got the last Wii from Smyths Airside yesterday. They might be getting 50 next thursday.
    Appartently they are flying off the shelves - Christmas Panic buying

    I got Wii Play from Smyths with mine...it made sense, its cheaper than most games they'd pick...or if your clever enough they've got a pretty loose returns policy, buy it with the extra game and exchange it for the Wii Play..then you get that and your extra bit in store credit
