More car parking spaces in Sligo ?

Does anyone know when there will be more car parking spaces in Sligo ? They are so badly needed, especially with the opening of the new shopping centre if it is to do well. The few that are in the middle of town are very expensive as it is, and hard to find. Time for Sligo Corporation to get their finger out. Why is there…

Why is there not a multi-storey car park by now , or some old back gardens etc knocked down?

It's a disgrace.

There are planned Multi storeys at Abbey Street, Connaughton Road and Wine Street Car Park but no dates given as to when work will begin.

It's a mess and will get worse this Christmas!
