Slow puncture

I have a slow puncture - 3 hours after being pumped up, it was still up. 9 hours later it was flat.

I tried listening to it, feeling it, holding it to my face, putting it in a sink of water.

Any other ideas? Oh, I bought a replacement tube, but having a spare is handy. :D

Without sounding like an eejit have you tried putting it into the sink full of water and then pumping it?

sounds like a ****e valve, get a valve tool and tighten it they are only e1.50
other than that open the valve, pour in a small amout of washing up liquid + water, close it, pump it and watch for a huge bubble.....

Again, as said above, I'd check the valve. It can be pretty hard to spot.
