Is there a name to this type of photography?

I was looking at various pictures on art.com and came across this gallery which really struck me as beautiful.

Is there a specific name for this type of photographic art other than just "nude", and does anyone have any recommendations of artists that have similar collections?

The link isn't working. Maybe it's just my connection because I'm at work but I think it's the link.

it like a silhouette shot but with a little detail in it. Nearly looks like a negative.

Hmm, maybe its blocked thr or something?, I just tried it on another pc using firefox and internet explorer and worked fine.

The photographer is Taka Kurokawa, looking at google images, the first few results show the pictures I'm talking about here.

"Fine Art Nude" is what the photographer most likely calls it.

Hmm, thanks, sounds like you would call it something else?

I guess its a very fine line between art and porn, this would definitly come into the classification of art for me.

Well, no, I wouldn't, but plenty of others would for me. I think it is a bit too focused on the body, but meh, I'm a fashion/portrait photographer, I prefer a bit more clothing ;)

Yes it's called "Not ****ing safe for work, tit." photography.
Mods, are you actually doing anything?

I'm glad I read the posts before clicking on the link, particularly Oriel's... im not going to click now but presumably there should be a NSFW in the title of this thread. Perhaps someone should edit it.

    Oh yes, more than enough.

    I generally thought that when...

...Was posted in a link, it would be quite obvious it was NSFW.

There was no nsfw images posted in this thread - No problems with that.

    Edit: Title Changed

Point taken Al, but it should really be in the thread title anyway. A lot of people just go in and click the link before reading the post... whether rightly or wrongly. But personally, if there is no warning in the thread I would consider it safe to click, which in this case, it apparently is not.

Relax it's not porn it's fine art/abstract nude. But maybe we should bring in a new classification like NSFHCC (Not Safe for hard Core Christians).

Fair enough - I was always brought up on "read before you click" - When I saw nude in the thread I expected what to see next.

Cheers! I wasnt passing any comment on the content, given I havent even clicked yet, just that the title should be edited, thanks Al.

And yeah, "read before you click" is how I usually do things, like in this case, but sometimes people don't. Some people might just read the first line and click the link. Not so relevant when the original post is as short as this, but it does happen.

I'd give it a click then. It's more along the lines of female shape and form than titties and ass. And there's a fine layer of latex between skin and camera.
