    Hi everyone

I'm doing a PGCE in Maths in Liverpool this year and they are crying out for Maths teachers over here but what is the situation like in Ireland, the west in particular? I assume its really difficult to find a permanent post from the other threads but wondering can anyone shed any light on maths posts specifically?

    Thanks for any help! :)

Over here, you're limiting yourself if you only have one subject and a lot of people have maths as a second subject at least.

That said, there are usually a lot of jobs advertised as science with maths or business with maths or something else with maths. You really do need another subject though or you're limiting yourself severely.
