How many tv sets am I allowed to use in a flat on one licence? Do I have to have separate licences for each set?

Not at all.... you can have 1000 TVs in your flat if you want.

A license covers a household and all equipment capable of receiving a TV signal within that house. Thus you could a room composed of TVs and only pay the one license, and yet you'd need two if you carried a little portable 14" between two apartments.

I was curious about this too. I had it in my head that you needed a licence per televion set. But it's good to know that the licence covers the entire household.
