Anyone explain this auction to me?

I'm a little confused by this auction here

For quantity it says "1 lot available (10 items each)"

Then it has a "cost per item" part where it says "US $5.00 each (not sold individually).

What kind of an auction is this? If I bid and win will I end up having to buy 10 at $75 each? I contacted the seller and asked about it but he said it's just like an ordinary auction and if no one bids I get it for $75.

Looks to me that this auction is for 10 of these items, if you are the winning bidder with say US$75, you will have bought 10 of these working out at US$7.50 each.
Its a bulk buy, handy if you can shift them on. They look good, might look out for an auction selling 1 myself.

I see nothing about 1 lot or 10 items in that description....the seller was most likely going to do a dutch auction, probably made a listing mistake and put the item quantity where the lot quantity should have been and vice versa....then maybe decided that selling individually over a longer period would probably net him more return.

  • He's changed it after I contacted him about it.
