May be of some interest to the rich amongst us. Clicky here.

Don't even consider clicking on any of the images unless you've got a decent connection.

I dont like when manufacturers send out high ISO samples where you dont need high iso. I use high iso in fading light or indoors. Thanks for the find though Roen

Last one on the bottom on the left has potential. looks very good so far, although everything looks perfectly exposed which helps a lot.

I think it was a review/news website though BF, not Canon releases. Then again I'm not sure if the 1DS III is available for review yet.

Thing is they were using zooms for the night shots I was looking at, and wide open too.

Using a zoom at one of it's extremes or another at it's max aperture is definitely not the way to show off a camera's capabilities!

Agreed on the high ISO thing as well. No need using those speeds for the subject matter concerned.

**EDIT** whoops, just checked the EXIF and the night scenes were at ƒ14

:) in my last job I went to a lot of trade shows and listen to a lot of bull from reps telling me how fast something could run and change over, in my experience I could believe about 10% of what they said and the rest went into the bin with the work they produced. You have to read between the lines and extract the truth. From these shots I am happy to have bought a 5d, and I subscribe to the idea that more pixels closer together means more noise no matter what they do to reduce it. Better that it wasnt there in the first place. Again thanks for the link Roen

The 40D proves your point Keith.
